Taylor Swift stepped out for dinner with a number of her A-list friends on Monday at Italian eatery Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria in New York.
The Bad Blood hitmaker, 33, was joined by Barbie director Greta Gerwig, 40, after fans recently joked that the women ‘saved the American economy’ – Greta with her billion-dollar film and Swift with her record-breaking Eras -tour.
The ladies also dined with Laura Dern, 56 – who starred in Swift’s Bejeweled music video – and Batman star Zoe Kravitz, 34.
Swift looked stylish for the night, wearing a black mini dress with knee-high Christian Louboutin boots.
The singer completed the look with a plaid gray coat and a black purse.

Dern and Kravitz were seen sharing a hug goodbye after the successful dinner.
The ladies certainly had a lot to talk about during dinner following the success of Swift’s ongoing tour and Gerwig’s Barbie blockbuster.
Some Swift fans have claimed the singer has kept the US from falling into recession after The Eras Tour was expected to generate close to $5 billion in consumer spending.

Meanwhile, Gerwig’s Barbie passed Marvel’s The Avengers as the 11th highest-grossing film of all time at the domestic box office with $626.1 million.
Barbie has also taken in $1.416 billion at the worldwide box office, good for 14th place globally.
While the foursome might have discussed their impact on the American economy, they might also have reminisced about the time Dern starred in one of Swift’s videos.
The Oscar winner even previously recalled how a young fan recognized her from the Bejeweled video and not from her iconic Jurassic Park role.
She shared the funny anecdote on Jimmy Kimmel Live in January, recalling how she was at a friend’s farm in Oahu filming the original Jurassic Park (1993).
“I was coming out of their yard and there’s a guided tour of the ‘Jurassic Park attractions’ with a little sign that says ‘Welcome to Jurassic Park.’ And when I was post-beach and saw our friends, put we get into the car and I’m standing right in front of the sign and here comes a group of people.’
‘This girl comes running up to me and says, “Oh, my God! Oh, my God!” I was like… “I just want to be with my family, let’s not do a whole Jurassic Park (thing),” the star said.
“She says, ‘Aren’t you the girl in the Taylor Swift video?’ Dern called the experience “amazing.”

She was also happy to work with Swift, who directed the video and played Cinderella, along with Dern, who was the evil stepmother, and the Haim sisters as the stepsisters.
Taylor asked me and it sounded like such an incredible time. And I was amazed at what a great filmmaker she is, how prepared she was, how improvisational and fun it was. I had the time of my life. So it was great.’
Swift has also raved about Dern in the past, calling her ‘the coolest’ for agreeing to star in the video.
The singer joked that she got Dern to appear in the video by telling her she scripted one scene in which the actress would call her a ‘tired, tacky girl’ during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in October. .
“And she was like, ‘I’m down,'” Swift shared, adding, “She’s the coolest, she’s so funny.”
